Hard Feelings Reflection Cards – x10 large (A5), full-colour cards, with box

This set of was created from my own feelings  – ones that often felt too overwhelming, too hard to name, and honestly, a bit too dark to share at times. I made these cards in the hope that they might help others feel a little less alone when those kinds of feelings show up.

Each card gives gentle language to the emotional spaces we often struggle to talk about – loneliness, emptiness, hopelessness, vulnerability, or that heavy sense of self-doubt. These aren’t diagnostic or clinical – they’re just very human.

You might find the cards helpful to offer clients who are finding it hard to put things into words. Or you might keep them for yourself, as a quiet reminder of the feelings you’ve known too – because our empathy often grows deeper when we can recognise a part of ourselves in the people we support.

There’s no right or wrong way to use them. Let a client choose one, bring one into the space if it feels right, or simply let them sit nearby, available if needed.
